Genealogy has been for many years a hobby to which I devote a large part of my free time. I had been interested for a long time in finding the origin of my surname, but without initiating any research worth mentioning to this effect. Until I discovered certain family documents following a death in the family, and I read a book on genealogy. Since then, genealogy has become a passion for me.

During the last years, I have identified my ascendency, and I have begun research into the ascendency of my two sisters-in-law (Marie-Andrée Pilon and Hélène Roberge). I have also begun the task of listing all the descendants of the Rodrigue ancestors who settled in Québec. I am maintaining the web site of the Rodrigue Families Association, which has been set up to provide genealogical information to those who are interested in researching the Rodrigue families of Québec... and elsewhere, and to bring them together.
